Original FF2000 Starter ring

Does anyone know which road car the original FF2000 starter ring came off, it had 110 teeth & is slightly smaller than the standard road Pinto one & it suits a 10 tooth Ford inertia starter. Its posably off a Mk1 or 2 Cortina 1600 GT.

Better yet does anyone have one they wish to sell?

Have'nt tried Ken yet as he does'nt normaly get into the engine side of things. His cars also seem to use a more modern lighter starter which i believe uses a different starter ring. But your right he is still worth a try as he is Mr ff2000

Thanks for all the help, I'm a bit stuck with part/ID numbers because our ring gear is spread around mallory park with bits of the fly wheel for company. All i know is that we ran the original style ring gear & starter for FF2000. This is one of the last pieces we are stuck for after we have re jigged the chassis re built the body work replaced the block, bell housing & gearbox case. We dearly want to get the car re built & do a few races with it next season, other racing commitments permitting as the poor thing has been parked up for nearly two seasons since the fly wheel exploded.

The flywheel / ring gear combo is a std ff1600 assembly, it will fit perfectly with std hewland mk8/9 engine to gearbox adapter . remember the adapter must be genuine HEWLAND , of which are still available. regards ,CHEERS.

I now have an original FF2000 starter ring gear, for those of you that are interested the part number was US110/10FR. It was from such cars as an Anglia 105E/107E 1959-67, Capri/Classic 109E/116E 61-64, Capri 1300/1600 GT 69 on, cortina 1200/1300/1500 113E/118E 62-67, Cortina 1300/1600 & E 67 on, Escort 1100/1300 & vans 68 -70s

Theres a bit of useless trivia for you, unless like us you had a FF2000 minus starter ring
