fair enough, I suppose some people like them and some don't. I feel there is a place for them, but there are too many of them.

Out of interest, when did the MRC last run 3 grids?

Might have been Anglesey, but to be honest with you I can't remember. It may have been a while ago, before all the Jedi went off and did Formula Jedi (or what ever it is called).

Perhaps if they put all the double headers in the summer months, at the nice circuits to "Camp" at such as Croft, Anglesey & Pembrey (although a long way to go for most) People might appreciate the weekend more.

What's that then? You pretending to be asleep whilst your folks 'rock the caravan' from the double bed?

Not paraded recently (because they haven't got 5 double header rounds this year?) was the concept that in theory you could win a Mono championship from 5 meetings. I've always been a bit of a fan of the double header weekend myself, mostly because of the cost saving. Doing it all on one day offers the potential for saving a bit more. That said, 2 qualifiers and 2 races on a Sunday worked OK for me last year, and I think one guy ran two cars for 4 races! but it was a bit hectic. And I didn't have any mechanical problems or need to do tyre changes.

Don't anyone kid themeselves that your saving the whole BRSCC £140, Mono championship registration is £90.

Cheers.

MRC is still not bad value as many of the BRSCC championships still have registration fees into the hundreds, and thats ontop of the BRSCC membership fee, so £90 is cheaper than 300+

True. FF1600 registration is £50 for all six (?) series combined on top of the BRSCC membership.

And in NW FF1600, you get your £50 back when you've done five rounds, thanks to Seamus Wild and Rensburg.
So FF1600 registration is £absolutely zilcho for all six (?) series if you do five NW rounds. Bargain or what?
Diz's ambition for 2005 is to get John Miller to venture out in NW FF1600

There's one on the list!

21st May or 17th September, IIRC.

Neither are NW rounds, May is MSV and Sept is KoK
Before I get accused of taking this there is a tenuous link to ARP F3, i.e. the ARP F3 Test Prize Drives for NW FF1600

So Sorry Steve didn't make it Unforseen cicumstances and all that .We also wanted to do the " Blackdog day" but a bereavment to one of Steve's Colleague's prevented that as well. Our last outing at Anglesey we had a misfire and a few gear ratio's too many slowing us down a bit ( Those Jedi's are still good ) I still think Steve would of got the lap record that day . IF it hadn't been for a rose joint failing ( 6 months old before anyone says they should have been replaced) But that's motor Racing .
Answering another query -- There are 3 classes in ARP this year.."A" B and Masters we are in Masters class This is the class they would like to see gone

Has anyone read the code of conduct for this championship on the arp website?

Cars will get excluded if not presented correctly, all vehicles clean and parked in a tidy manner?,all “Race teams” are requested wherever possible to also present all personnel in ‘team colours’ .

Is this not a bit Anal or has it always been like this?

What are the registrations like this year?

Key phrase is "wherever possible"
I like to see well turned out teams, it's not so much a professionalism thing more a showing a united sense of purpose.

It isn't a professional championship, but a championship that strives to have professional presentation, rather than have cars turn up, park where they like and so on - it looks far better to fans for one thing!
