North American FBMW and FRenault (2000)
Does anyone know who's driving for what team in this series? Been following the panam site and it seems the FR2000 is lacking in participation.
I don't think all the teams have filled the driver roster yet eithe for formula bmw. |

The first official Formula BMW USA testing days have just concluded at Road Atlanta. There were (19) drivers persent and I must say that I am extremely impressed with the support and organization of Formula BMW USA.
Just announced on the www.formulabmwusa.com website is first ever BMW World Finals scheduled for December 2005. I know my drivers are extremely excited to partipate in the World Finals. The winner gains a big bag of cash and a BMW F-1 test. |

Does anyone know the team lineups?
I know Gelles have 4 of the 18, Atlantic has 1, Apex has 1 currently and Jensen has 2 cars. Doesn't seem like AIM and Autotechnica have anyone in their cars at the moment. |

Thanks Bob (I'm assuming that's who you are of course) for the info.
Do you know if Atlantic has filled a second seat for the fbmw? I think they got one of the kids who won the scholarship, but their site didn't show who's the 2nd driver. |

HBR has 4 drivers confirmed, I heard some of them were really fast for the teams first test outing.

Depends what your definition of impressed is. I heard those 3 guys have done a significant number of test days and been to the circuit before. From a team member one of the HBR cars was on the pace on the second day. 1.27.0?

Moon did a 1.26.0 before it started to rain. I was looking just their driving techniques. Their braking points, down shifts, how smooth they were, and when they were getting on the throttle.

Ok, all unofficial of course, days of cockpit time and being there before would round those edges. Find that hard to believe considering an HBR car hunted Moon down and passed him.
