I think the summary on Euro was too short despite the race was lively.
I decided yesterday that I will go to Magny-Cours. There I will see and hear the maseratis, if the weather allows it.

The Labre 550 and the MC12 both did well at Monza, but not so good at Sebring. So either both where very careful with the pace at sebring hoping to finish or the new aston and vette are alot quicker than either.

Not to forget that Sebring is a track unlike anything you've got in Europe, and that the MC12's engine was not on song for most of the Sebring week.

Oops - a late reply to those sound/vids clips - Sebring vids are pretty gud - of any that actually worked (probs my machine playing up) there didn't seem to be much of the Mazza that was gud and clear - the DBR9 is great though. I'll bring back some good sounds (and vids) from Silverstone

what happened to the Nr 4 Konrad Saleen? With like 20 mins to go, it pulled off the track. Was it an engine failure?

lol - maybe pull off the car number sticker and underneath it'll have "LMP1" scrubbed off with GT1 scrawled over it in felt-tip pen too?

No. We fly home with Franz and he told that they don´t know what happended. The left side of the car was full of oil. They found nothing and the engine data are ok and they must check the car in their workshop.

For Magny-Cours they´ll get new aerodynamic parts for the car and Franz hopes that they will have one very strong (Konrad Sallen proofed ) driver line-Up in the #5 car.
