Rxie - it was mentioned in the Croft thread:

http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...89#post1288389

But I have to stress this is not a fact at this stage - until something official is announced one way or the other by the RSS then this is purely rumour. If anyone has any concrete evidence then please feel free to post a link.

From what i heard, they went round and told every one at Lydden that they could not afford any TV coverage. Im sure "NittiAlamaki" could enlighten us. I think the hortons know more.

... and no Knockhill either :(

Very disappointing given that this is our local circuit.

sihorton should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I was informed of this a few weeks ago when I spoke to the RSS after one of my sponsors noticed that it wasn't mentioned on there website anymore. However, they did say that they are talking to one of the TV channels to sort out coverage of the series.

I'm afraid thats as much as i know, but i'm sure more will come to light this coming monday at croft.

After speaking to John Rook yesterday its official that there will only be local tv coverage for croft as the funding to cover the cost of filming which is about £14000 per event could not be raised in time .The RSS are in talks for
backing to cover tv funding . There will be at least two events this year.
with full tv filming.

This isn't what we all really wanted but we should give the guys a break and
wait and see how this year pans out . £14000 is a lot of money for a new
company ,so its seems a good idea to limit the costs so the other events can be run . The other way would be to increase entry fees to £3-400 per event
and we all know what happen then don't we!
