I feel I must reiterate two points, as I don't think people are understanding what I am trying to put across.

1. The Press Release was issued prior to 10th July

So why was the Pit Lane open on 10th July?

2. The situation as explained is simple and does not affect any club organising at the venue this year.

Does this mean that the situation [pit lane not in use except for Top Hat blah, blah, blah] is simple and would affect, or would not affect any club organising at the venue this year?

Now that is quite important, whether the word NOT should be in there.

To answer diz's comments:

1. Because of specific requirements of ARP F3.
2. It does not affect any club, because consultations have been made and all are satisfied with the arrangements as they stand.

OK folks, this is going round and round in circles. Mallory have stated the official position and no amount of chat on here is going to change that. If there are any more exceptions other than the Top Hat I'm sure they will be announced, but my understanding is there won't be.

With that in mind I think it's time to close the thread. If anyone has anything unmissable to ad, then please PM me and I'll consider reopening, but I can't see any value in further discussion on the subject.
