F1 to Romania?
I found an article at grandprix.com stating that a track will be built in a park surrounding the Parliament in Romania's capital of Bucharest. Here is more info on the project...

actually it is tilke. and also a street circuit(no F1). Further more, the article is extremely confusing with those names. The basic idea is that this year there were mayoral elections and 1 guy thought a racing circuit( every racing circuit here is an F1 circuit) would bring him votes. Now, partisan differences are void in business so the guy who won thought it is an interesting idea so he contacted a german firm to study the idea. Much talk nothing will be done. Anyway, it is made for DTM.

tilke *shudders*
unless this man is stopped we will actually see the circuit design used on the williams budweiser advert "i cant drive this its just corner corner corner corner" surely to get world recognition you have to be good at something, what the hell happened with Tilke!!!!!!! |

Well, if Romania bids for a GP, that might spur Bernie to give up the dreadful Hungarian GP, so as to get rid of it, but still please fans in Eastern Europe.

It seems we're not the biggest fans of Tilke here
I was wondering how Romania could support such an event when i saw the thread title. Given some of the other European nations holding events, an F1 event could be interesting |

it's too short for F1 anyway .. and the media instantly thinks F1 . they know nothing but F1 .. it will take a while if ever for Romania to bid for a GP .. for sure not with that circuit ..
i hope something will come from all this . we need some circuit racing .. |
