If you were there you would have seen that they decided to use the International TELEPHONE codes on the electroric scoreboard!!!

A set of boards with the countries' three letter codes on was very quickly produced and available for the rest of the meeting.

It was remarkable how quickly one could begin to identify the various paint schemes, certainly by the second practice session. Mexico and Portugal were the most difficult.
