Beschir is driving the car in manchester for the a1 parade but anyway for racing i think Rahal will be the best choice but what is going on in lebanon now will not help him as he race always using his US nationality but i still belive he will be the best between them

Irelands in for 2006.07. No dount michael devaney is driving with either Patrick Hogan or Niall Quinn being second driver.
There will be a new livery and a host of new sponsors. A1gp needs a massive increase in media cogverage and exposure if it is to be popular in ireland as it is such a small country and the sky deal is not doing it any favours. |

hopefully Enge will be the Cz car again be he was impressive last season
A1GP will remain on Sky because the BBC won't give any decent time to proper motorsport and instead bore us with men wearing leathers and ITV already has F1 and the BTCC I think A1GP will be staying put for the time being |

In fairness, compared to Kerr he does know it all. He has a proven track record in the IRL and was a decent driver in F3000. Kerr at the moment has the less impressive CV of the 2 drivers. IMO.

To give him credit, Manning has been the only driver to get in the GBR car a put on the front row first time out. Media attitude or not, if the GBR tream are serious about winning, proven speed has to count for something.

Nev, you shouldn't say anything bad about Manning in these forums - I learnt that the hard way. Also, no-one seems to like Kerr despite him winning several titles in his career including British F3 (more than Manning - in fact Manning has never won anything).
Arden was pushing for Manning over Kerr so no doubt they made more of an effort getting his setup right. They did a great job at throwing away winning positions and most of the year the car looked like a pig to drive. The fact that Team GB then fired Arden says it all. As wonderful as Manning's perceived racing was first time out, he was VERY bad in the 2nd race and was overtaken by 5/6 cars (more than ever past Kerr) - be that due to fitness or skill, I dunno. As for his arrogant attitude, even current F1 drivers are not so obviously obnoxious. I would imagine the only reason Manning's name is being mentioned is because he's familiar with the car and Kerr may be busy. Now Arden is no longer on the scene there's no other reason for them to choose him over Kerr. In fact, I'd bet anyone £5 that Kerr does very well this year with Arden gone ... Now I’ll sit back and wait for the inevitable "you can't say bad things against Manning or Arden" flaming! |

Angola could come in 2007. Portuguese Tony Teixeira lived in Angola and he loves Angola and he is going to help my country to rise a budget. Ricardo Teixeira will be nr 1 driver and maybe Sa Silva nr 2 driver.

Having looked up his CV - it only took Manning FOUR years of doing F3 to win a champ!! Kerr won both the Class-B and then the normal F3 championships first time around. Far more impressive - and I think still the only driver ever to win both in consecutive years? Last edited by Kebab; 2 Aug 2006 at 17:26. |
