Alzen Porsche Cayman
I've been in love with the Cayman ever since it's been unveiled. Now there's this new Nurburgring racer from Alzen Motorsport and it looks quite aggressive with a very vertical front end (snowplow inspired... Ã* la F430) and a very tall rear wing. And then there's the engine; my german is uberbasic but the pictures show what looks like a Cayenne V8 with turbo plenums... Nice beast!

beast. pure beast. the factory won't like it, because it'll be better than the more expensive 997. ouch.

Good to see such a cracking car from them again, though. Alien was beautiful, and the 997 last year was bland. |

The official Caymen RS press release (see updated site)claims the car has a 6 cylinder 3.9L 520hp engine!
Also - although Porsche have "officially" distanced themselves form this project, I wonder...? |

6 cylinder engine? then what is the engine in the second album on their site? or am i missing a link to the "official" site? either way the 6 or 8, bound to be a screaming car but definately a chance to be an explosive engine/tire destroyer combination.

They also had the Mission 400 on display, so perhaps it (the engine) was just another product on display. The engine did however look amazing! |

I don't like the Cayman road car but this racing version looks great.
In FIA GT and LM(S) tyres are very important. What's the quality of Hankook tyres compared to Michelin or Pirelli? |
