are you over the age of 50 ?

here is an important announcement for any kart racers in Australia who are 50 years old or over.

2002 is the age of a new era for those who reach 50 years old and are actively involved in Kart racing competition. There is a requirement in 2002 , of which 12 months advanced notice was given, for all those "49'rs" and 50 pluses guys who require an AKA competition licence that a medical examination must be completed by an approved examiner, The Motorsport medical certificate will be the required document. The cost of such an examination is usually $60 - $80 and is not eligible for medicare rebate.
What this examination will do is prove that those who reach that age are in fact "medically suited" to race karts and have a certificate to prove it.!!

So ensure you get the application form - available from your State Office...
