It's a lovely model, really good detail and I love Fabias, so it would happily sit on my desk.
But 101 euros! That's mega! Is that just because it's so specialist and rare? |

1/18 scale models can often be up there, and they are getting dearer. Especially the good quality ones, or the rare ones.
I have an 1/18 scale, Sainz, Repsol Escort. I bought it five years ago for £40. They are now selling for £95 |

This is a remake of a rally model, clearly it is handcrafted, and that's why it is that expensive. There is a german chap doing this for years now, maybe he is aiming of some commercial succes as he makes some fine models.

I dont really know myself where it come from. It looks really nice and perfect, but what a pity they havent turned the engine  Greetings Michael |

I'd heard that rumour too - I'd imagine from the same source about the same driver. Not seen of heard anything definite though.

The best thing to do with buying models is buy two at once then when they are worth more sell one on and keep the other
