iSport: Karun Chandhok & Lucas Di Grassi
ART: Kamui Kobayashi & Romain Grosjean Campos: Sebastien Buemi & Oliver Turvey Super Nova Racing: Luca Filippi & Nico Huelkenberg DAMS: Sakon Yamamoto & Jerome 'd Ambrosio Racing Engineering: Pastor Maldonado & Giorgio Pantano Arden: Mika Mäki & Sergio Perez Durango: Ho-Pin Tung & Giedo Van Der Garde FMS: Marko Asmer & Alvaro Parente Trident: Michael Ammermueller & Mike Conway Piquet: Andi Zuber & Hamad Al-Fardan DPR: Atte Mustonen & Mikhail Aleshin BCN: Roldan Rodriguez & Carlos Iaconelli That's my fantasy-lineup for the main series. If I guess every seat right, who offers a beer? About the Asia series, dunno, yet. |

I know that Herck owns 51% of DPR but did you know that Lukoil is planning to buy DPR and use bundle of Mustonen/Aleshin.

IMO BCN is full of sh*t and it should be replaced by some other team, stable and competetive. Double R comes in mind.

Ammermuller won't be back in GP2 full time unless he vanquishes his Master rival (s) I.E Van Der Drift, which is highly unlikely.....
I might put money on seeing him in the Asia series, as long as he can find some money? |

Ammermueller will be at least in the main series because he has Willi Weber behind him. That should do it.

That's an interesting line-up and I agree in part with some of them (iSport, Rac Eng, ARTand Arden are probably about right.)
Not sure about FMS and BCN, but, hey, there is still a lot to happen yet, so why not speculate! |

They weren't very strict with "Asian" drivers last season. Petrov qualified. Don't remember what's the case with Zuber, Austrian driver with UAE license.
And also Oceanian drivers were OK, so driver like Hartley could well get in. |

ART had a Grosjean and Jelley , it was no problem, if i remember well the teams just cannot get prize money if they do not have at least one "Asian"
Petrov qualified probably because the most part of Russia is located in Asia I think the organisation should clarify who are the "emerging" countries that qualify, Do Oceania and South America qualify? |

Ammermuller might get another chance but I can't see it, unless he does very very well in some tests. After the manner in which is form dipped badly during 2007, they'd be wasting their time trying again. Mind you maybe Willi will restart WTS (take over BCN!!??) and put them both in his cars! |

If I remember correctly, last year, anywhere except Europe and the Americas were considered "asian" by the series.

2009 grid might look something like this:
iSport: Chandhok/d'Ambrosio ART: Grosjean/Hülkenberg Campos: Petrov SN: Filippi/Ammermüller DAMS: Kobayashi RE: Pantano Arden: Mäki Durango: Valerio FMS: Valsecchi/Nunes Trident: Turvey Piquet: Zuber/Maldonado DPR: Herck BCN: Iaconelli/Yamamoto Quite a lot still with their current teams, but I think there might be more changes. Alguersari for RE or Arden. Mustonen, Aleshin, Schlegelmilch, Ebbesvik and van der Garde also linked to series. |

Does RE will be back instead of Meritus?
For some reasons i do not think that Pantano will be driving for RE in GP2 Asia, as the sponsors who pay for him in the main Serie (Repsol,Telefonica), will probably not be there in the Asian Serie. Unless RE find a new sponsor to back their Asian trip Last edited by META4; 8 Sep 2008 at 07:42. |

What about Karun Chandhok joining FMSI, due to signing test-driver contract with Force india (remember similar colour scheme of this two teams)?
As Alonso signed to Bmw, i believe Grosjean will join renault f1 team next year. |
