Lets revisit this at the end of next year after Holden dominate the series with 22 odd cars versus 8 and the best teams.
When half the fan base is peed off, the crowds drop off and so does the interest. Production cars the only way forward! |

How can you complain about domination in a one make series?

Brad Jones running in third place in one of the biggest races for touring cars globally. Aussies over in Macau, Spa, Monza, Silverstone etc and internationals at Bathurst good stuff. Perhaps it helped that the other Schnitzer BMW was in the wall and 4th place onwards were local cars from Macau/China, but none the less a good effort from BJR. Certainly a massive advantage to having an international formula. If only the FIA would give the WTCC a tweak... cars that are a bit more fast and exciting, all touring car drivers including the Aussies could aspire to be world champion? ATCC or V8 Supercars? Can it really be both when neither car fits the rules as they should be written "5000cc pushrod up to 8 cylinders solid rear axle 4-door passenger car in 5000 units needed for homologation" - if that's what they want, it should be what they require surely, else make it "up to 6500cc 4-doors 2 wheel drive 5000 units" and run what ye bring, if a V10 BMW wins all the time at least the elligibility was fair and the Commodore will be a realistic 6.2L .
