After more than a year of this series existing I finally woke up early to see the race live (I had seen the others in replay) and well, just try to see as another International Formula Master (now that it has folded) and not realy another GP2 or World Series that gives you an F1 test and you'll be fine
The racing today was generaly poor but well, I've seen other races and they've given good action. |

this should have been done yesterday as well, Eng has been given a pen for his part in the tangle of a 20 sec pen + a 10 grid pen, talking of that there is a suspened ten grid pen for him & stoneman if the drivers misbehaved again.
as per normal Palamer on pole for Todays race |

this is the 2nd time i talked about yellow flags today and this time it was for a car in the gravel and two cars also spun in the same turn and i wonder if the drivers might get a stiff talking from race control. for once Stoneman wins the race (just watch the race)

It was pretty bad. If I recall, Jerome d'Ambrosio got disqualified for something similar in GP2 Asia a few years ago. Afanasiev and Teixeira both deserve grid drops for the next race at least.

it looks like next weekend British F2 round will not be live at all as there is too much on if in UK, got touring cars, got fast bikes and of course the slow bikes and there is no room for this so it looks like i have to go to the web site to see both the saturday and sunday races live.

here's a bit of a revolutionary idea - why not head down to brands and actually see it in person?

No, the FIA F2 stream doesn't work - it's geolocked.

Most bizzare - I noticed Stoneman slowed right down on the final lap and was 2.5 off Gladdis at the end. He should have known that there was a decent chance that he would get a 20s penalty. If he was right on Gladdis' tail he probably would have got a point or two (Lariche in 10th was 21s off Gladdis).
While Stoneman's speed has been very impressive he hasn't demostrated that he is the most intelligent driver out there |

Isn't it strange that Stoneman gets a 20 second penalty that will benefit Joylon Palmer, who happens to be Jonathan Palmer's (organizer of the championship) son?

i thought it was more strange that stonemans driving was investigated whereas palmers earlier in the lap that pushed someone else out wasn't.

Guys, don't want to open up an argument that has already been talked about too much, but went on the F2 site yesterday and was interested to see Stoneman is on pole and Jolyon is 14th.
I didn't see the qualifying so can't comment too much on their positions, but it seems to put a lie to the "it's his dad's series" stuff... |

The flaws of F2 are very obvious but I have enjoyed what has been a very close battle between Stoneman and Palmer all year. I would like to see Dean win but Palmer to take it to the wire in the second Valencia race. |

It's going to be a bigger PR disaster when he actually gets to drive a GP2 car, assuming any team will accept him for testing.

Because he couldn't drive a greasy stick up a dogs arse. F2 is finished. No one wants to do it, the cars crap and it will lose its FIA status.

at least we saw stoneman wrapped up the tilte and before the wsbr rollover there was a roll over here as well. this time it was the interlocking of wheels that caused this rollover. and at turn 1

For what its worth i was pleased to see Jack Clarke get another podium today, not been a great year for him, he has the speed in my opinion, just a mixture of being rough around the edges and some rotten luck, not sure where next for him though.
