well what a day, startd with a nice drive in a friends 911 turbo, quite a car, ended up abusing the police via email for not answering the phone, and the shops shut, what the hells going on? some little scrotes have broken into 5 lock ups in the pound, including one of mine, fortunately 2 old Lambrettas and a semi dismantled Cortina didn't interest them.
I'm just putting some nails in the softball bat |

I wouldn't give them the pleasure with a scooter, I'll use that mankey old land rover out the back, and we'll put 200 2" self tappers through the tyres, or get Henrik to post over some proper Scandinavian winter jobbies
Part time plod are coming round in the morning, should be fun!!! |

I'm not sure an excuse based on the two of you being competitive would go down that well! I image Delta son is training to make a break at the start and get as far ahead as possible as soon as possible - especially if he has not yet had the flu! |

Dont worry Gordon, just keep the sheepskin coat on and you will be fine. You know, the one you use to keep yourself warm while you sit on the beach.

At 3:00am this morning, there came the sound of fire crackers from my lounge in the apartment. It was the marble flooring "lifting". I now have to have the entire floor dug up and re-laid. This is the second time in two years. Demobilising later this year so no point moving out. Bloody inconvenient though. Can't even book a hotel for a few days, they're all full due to the Asian Football Cup.

Lol,
It's not uncommon out here. In the UK and other places you build a tower with concrete floors. Then you put a separate screed on top of the floor, then you stick the flooring to that. It allows for movement and expansion/contraction. Out here they build a monolithic floor with a 50mm topping of plain concrete and just stick the flooring directly on top. Hence when the building moves (as buildings do) the floors "pop". It also means that rather than just replace the tiles, they have to dig up the floor and relay the top 50mm of concrete. All very inconvenient. |
