HRT driver to drive for Wilson Security?
Seems that a few F1 drivers will drive in the GC 600, including current driver for Hispania Racing Team's Tonio Luzzi:

So with no clash with F1, could we see Mark Webber line up, possibly with Red Bull sponsored Rick Kelly? |

I should add, that it is good to see some well pedigreed drivers taking part, I hate to imagine the cost involved in this, but it looks good for the series and the race
and nice play on words |

Not really in a point of view. Hispania is commonly known as HRT.
Agreed Pecky and thanks for the compliment. |

I believe Red Bull have a promo somewhere, which precluded The Next Big Aussie Thing TM from possibly competing

Cant see any of the leading F1 drivers participating (not enough $$$ and teams would not approve) but would be great to see a guy like Liuzzi down here at Gold Coast, hope he makes it and is not some PR spin to create headlines.

Still it'd be nice to see Team Vodaphone running Whincup/Lowndes with Button/Hamilton, but I won't get my hopes up |

That would be brilliant if McLaren's drivers would drive a Triple Eight Commodore around. But I think Mercedes wouldn't be too happy if they drove a General Motors car.

Fair amount of truth there.
Cant see Webber competing, there's no interest there. When he retires he aint gonna come running down here to drive a V8 guys. Chances are he'll do sportscars or DTM, failing that he'll just jump behind the bar at his pub in England. |

would suspect that the F1 teams have fair reason not to allow their multi million $$ payed stars to race at the GC. Robert Kubica ring any bells with anyone???
