HRT replaced the black with red lining to blue with orange when Telecom upped their sponsorship for the 93 enduros.

Ingall to 888 next year as a 3rd car
Supercheap allegedly want out of PMM which is why the PMM 888 talks broke down regarding the 4 car team Or so the story goes |

as a sponsor, they will go where it best suits there needs for advertising, car at pointy end, etc. They may even go back to a two car team, Supercheap and BCF , not that bad of an idea , if you looked at it from marketing. "thats not living Russell, this is, racing , boating and camping" (**** should have got a job in marketing, Doh) |

Or perhaps David Russell...
The question may be whether the driver needs to bring a budget to secure the seat, certainly the current Bottle O car enjoys quite a bit of signage on the pilot and the chassis from Autobarn... |

When Bottle O was at TDR, the D'Alberto family businesses seemed to pick up the shortfall between the cost to run, and the amount of money RNR supplied to operate the car. That was done reasonably cheaply... with not so many crew, and a plug n play WP technical alliance keeping costs down. Say $1.5m/yr for full operational expenses, excluding capital.
When Bottle O and RNR moved to FPR, you would have to presume that the full cost of operating the car there would need to be footed by RNR. So where the TDR cost was at the $1.5m mark suggested above, FPR is likely $500k to $1m beyond that.. Now while Canadian Club has taken the bonnet space (say $300k), there is still a gap.. which by looking at the car... ... is taken up to some extent by the Autobarn, and arguably related Castrol funding on the front of the thing. Now whether that signage is in lieu of Mr Dumbrell's driver wage might be interesting to ponder. It is not unlikely that Mr Nash has had to spend more of his own income to operate the car at FPR than he ever did at TDR, or the sub $1m deal done when Mr Owen was the pilot of his ex-PMM Commodore. On this basis, Mr Moffat with his Norton 360/Doric/Boylan dowry might be a good fit. Question would be whether the brands Mr Moffat seems to have available are compatible with a purveyor of alcoholic beverages.... But he isnt the only one with access to funds... Could we see Mr Bargwanna rock up at RNR with Jana Living painting the available spaces in that Trading Post Orange? |

As opposed to the actual alcohol sponsor they associate with now? Can not see that as being a big problem if he drives for Jim Beam currently.

Also, Mr Moffat wears a 'Norton' race suit unlike Mr Courtney who had a 'Jim Beam' one when piloting the same car last year. There have been very few unrelated co-sponsorships with alcohol brands.. |
