Well my life is still all over the place at the moment so sadly I won't be able to make it. However, hope that it is a great success and a few pics posted on here next week will not go amiss ....... with captions in Deltan, now the official language as proposed by Max, and seconded by Clive.

Hope all goes well for you Iain, I'm sure it will still be a good day even if it does rain as it was last year.
Sorry cant make it, but I'm otherwise engaged on manoeuvres at the moment |

Well, setting up is well under way and it is actually drier than this morning!
I left Norfolk at 0530 and sun was shining, but then drove through drizzle and rain..... Had an escort from Henley to Stoke Row (Iain) so arrived unscathed. Lot of overhanging trees and hedges around! Hopefully will be dry for bike ride later and maybe for the BBQ after. Plenty of awnings up so even if weather gods aren't shining on Stoke tomorrow there will be plenty of shelter! No excuses! |

My Goodness, what a super line up. So sorry I'm not there today or especially tomorrow. It would have been an honour to be next to the icon of my youth, the P34. Let's have lots of pictures.
Have a great day everyone. |

At the moment we are moving cars into position and trying to keep everything dry! The Sharknose and Tyrrell are snug in the w/shop so can be admired in comfort. I know from previous years that the local ladies will be putting on a fantastic spread of food during the day and there is plenty of awning cover to consume under. So anyone hesitating about coming along because of the weather, don't let it put you off! |

But you speak English better than most English people.
Edited: I suppose there lies the problem. Here's a loose translation. Thank you Max, I will inform you of how much money we raised with your support, Many thanks, Iain. Last edited by Tim Falce; 3 Jun 2012 at 14:47. |

Well, despite the weather a great day and several tenthers in attendance with cars, marshalling or just chilling. How cool to see an Austin 7 special coming in at finish of the morning tour behind a 458 Italia, a very original Escort Twin Cam followed by a Renault Twizy! (You may need to look that one up- it's very new....) Then Ross Brawn is wandering around kicking tyres, having arrived in his 275GTB in the rain. An F40, casually parked, is joined by a McLaren MP24C and a 'Speedboat' Reliant conversion that almost looked appropriate for the weather! And then there was the paddock full of interesting race cars...........
If the event is within distance put it on your list for 'must do' next year. 'It's getting better all the time.' |

Some photos of this afternoon's jaunt in "Delta sunshine".
A great pleasure to meet so many people and put faces to names which in turn will link to cars and helmets. A very big thank you Iain. Stoke Row 2012 |

Great pics! Is that BMW still there? Surprised Delta hasn't turned it into a "360" car! Must be "cheaper than mine" by now...

I did threaten to load it into truck o/nite but sadly don't think wheels will turn any more! For the curious, it IS a CSL and does belong to someone. But not Delta..... |
