Looking for a certain type of car!......

Hi chaps, I am a huge fan of the thunder / special saloon race cars from back in the good old days.
I have been looking for several years trying to find a thunder saloon, special saloon race escort but have had little luck.
I had a great opportunity a while back to secure a fantastic car but it was the wrong time in my life and didnt have the cash etc, etc.

Anyway, is there any wide arched MK1 or MK2 thundersaloon escorts out there??? Where have they all gone!??

If anyone knows of something, please, please, please give me a call on 07952 656046.

Thanks!! I really hope something can come up!!

Sam.

"Racecarsdirect" (google for it) is always a good possibility and I am sure that "Cheshire Classics" (owned by Damon Milne) have an Mk 1 Escort Special Saloon project for sale. here you go:

Hi Andy, thanks mate. I have been talking with Dave about this but i think its a little pricey for what it is. Most of the parts are not useable and unfortunatley the original front end is missing which is a shame. It needs alot of work that car.
I am very interested though nonetheless!.......

As an alternative, how about an Eurocar V8. I know where there is one (with a Merc facisimile front end treatment), ready to go for about £7500. Can be used in CTCRC Classic Thunder, I believe.

Really it has to be an escort thanks mate. Or something group 5 looking! One day something will come up. I hope!
