the thing here is that he is a member of a large team, so we really do not know what exactly he did, and can't really attribute any failures to him. For example someone mentioned Toyotas driver line up, but was it gascoyne who single handedly made this decision? I'd imagine not.
It's different to criticising a driver. We know what they do, and our speculation is part of being a sports person. As an engineer, I certainly wouldn't like people speculating about my worth in my career online. |
