Lesworth should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
New marshal saying hello

Hi all,

Thought I had better register on here and say hello. This is my first year following taster days and training day in March. 6 days in so far at Silverstone (2 more to go this year) and still so much to learn. What amazes me is the variety of things seen / dealt on the different posts!

Its been great so far and the on the job training by the I/O's and experienced marshals has been very reassuring to a newb like me.

Cheers,

Les.

And it will never cease to amaze you! Last year Nina, a photographer and me spent 5 minutes trying to clear an inquisitive, and fast, hare from the track at the loop. All under direction of RC LOL.

I suspect we looked like complete idiots!

And you should be safe in the knowledge that I'm sure it's been copied off onto DVD for later replay at training days etc

Yes I am sure it will appear in the "Trackside Wildlife, Child and DeadSquirrel Control" training module during next years round of classroom activity.

Anyway off topic really - Welome to Lesworth - see you at Silverstone - Nina are up for all remaining meetings (I think) and on Hare control detail.

We had to deal with a family of swans at Oulton Park this year who decided to go for a wonder onto the track just as the safety car was taking the cars round on the green flag lap. It must have been quite a sight watching us flapping our hands trying to usher them back to the lake. Lol.

Anyway, welcome to the wonderful life in orange Lesworth. 😃
