No, the only 'proper' GT4 cars there are the Astons... anything else is homegrown, though some of the Camaros might have been prepped by Riley Tech originally and if so, those were also homologated for competition in Europe. But both, the US-cars and the European cars have since been extensively modified, so they really aren't very similar anymore.

Would it make sense to make all of the GT cars, GT3 and all of the GTS cars GT4? That way, European teams can come over and run. The fields could even get to the size where GT3 and GT4 could have their own race.

No, it wouldn't make much sense... there are too many none GT4-cars in the class and many models are involved that don't even have GT4-equivalents.
Also, GT4 has by no means been a success story in Europe, so there aren't too many of those cars around in the first place, and then: What would be their incentive to travel to the US for mere sprint races. I could see them being interested in some endurance stuff, but even then, we are probably talking single digit numbers. |

It's cool that they let you build your own race car instead of buying a customer car.

While most of the Mustangs in GTS are factory built Boss 302's several are not including the one that won Detroit last year. Ford will sell you all the parts to build a clone Boss 302 including a BIW chassis with the cage in it. In my case I bought a 2011 Mustang V6 raced it for 2 seasons in a club class then converted to a Boss 302 that I still club race, but could enter a WC GTS race if I wanted to with the addition of the wing and front splitter. In the end my build was cheaper than going the factory built route since we did the work in my shop.

Yes, so long as you run it on Chrome, it should work fine. I am currently watching it in 480p and it is running smoothly.

I tried different browsers and both PWC and YouTube ... it just took 15 minutes to warm up. The race itself ran well.
Sort of an understatement. I still don't know how O'Connell got by Mancuso, but wow, there was a lot of racing going on. |

I watched it on YouTube, the image it would intermittently pixelize on me for a few seconds and then go back to normal, not a big deal.the YouTube app on my iPad always does that anyways, and the pwc tv stream has never been watchable on my iPad for some reason.
That aside what a great race, good to see some real good racing.this mancuso guy sure gave Johnny o' a good fight.now all I want to see is those kpax mclaren's up front! |

A few things:
-No Jeremy Shaw. -Feed was on for 5 minutes and off for 1, it just went that way for the whole broadcast. -When the second race came on, the feed was perfect. -Second race seemed pretty lame. There were only 5 pro touring cars. The rest (5) were amateur touring cars. -Touring car B was pretty good but those cars seemed pretty slow. I wonder if they could get rid of those TC cars and have GTS run their own race (as not to ruin the GT race)? Maybe add in a prototype race (LMP-1 and LMP-2)? |

Maybe just completely forget about prototypes in a GT series? Getting bored of those suggestions...

I really enjoyed both races, especially the GT/GTA/GTS race.
The Youtube stream was great for the GT race for me and then started having problems for the TC race, But overall I can't complain too much. PWC is really putting on some awesome racing this season. I can't wait for tomorrows race! |

I think gts works well with gt,and I wouldn't mind seeing tc in there too.gt multi class racing works like the bathurst 12 hour. |
