That is one pretty different looking Audi. I can't say the nose it to my taste at the moment.

The rear wing endplates are the same length as the back of the car. It's a bit weird to my eyes.

Also, the tail is now almost to the full 750mm max length allowed under the current rules. So no special "long tail" for LM.

Some air probably goes to the brake ducts, I'll be that the rest is dumped over the front diffuser and/or into the radiator intakes.
Audi are also running tuning vanes similar to Toyota, Porsche and Rebellion/Oreca behind the front wheels as well. Last edited by chernaudi; 3 Mar 2015 at 06:33. |

Other things of note:
Headlights look like a LED/Laserlight version of the Oreca 03's headlights, and this is the first Audi LMP1 car since the R10 where the whole rear clip--not just the rear wing--is to the 750mm max overhang. It seems that all the evolutions have been done with an eye to maintaining downforce levels similar to last year, but with (hopefully) considerable reduced drag. |

A face only a mother could love! Damn that thing is **** ugly. Defiantly cooling more than the brakes, maybe the Ricardo hybrid system requires more cooling, also how is the hybrid system cooled? Water? if so, a bigger radiator is needed for the system instead of the previous system by Williams. IF, that is, what's new about this. |

I quite like the new front end. Very aggressive!
Could the additional scoops be for cooling a hybrid system located in the front wheels? |

I hated how bulky the front area of the chassis looked last year, this has much more aggressive swing to it
Thanks to Lanky |

It looks mega at first glance. I just wish they'd keep that livery.

I love it !
but in my opinion, with this livery, the mudguards looks very fat ! I hope a livery which softens the lines of the car. |

Audi seem to have "form follows function" down to a fine art. I can't help but think of it as purposeful even though it reminds me of someone without their front teeth.
Surely the cooling slots at the front point to an uprated hybrid (flywheel) system. |
