Historic Tenthers Chr*stm*s Bash
I'm appalled that here we are, 5 days into October and with only 12 weeks to go, no-one's mentioned this before. My local - now ex-local - pub has had their tree up for a fortnight and I'm reliably informed that a nearby garden centre was playing carols last weekend.
Anyway, having sown the seed so mental notes can be made, I for one would be very pleased if there were no replies until at least 1st December |

I'm with you on the 1st December response suggestion (as you can tell!). However, isn't that a bit early? Tradition would suggest that proper organisation and, er, planning occurs much later than that. |

thankyou for the 1st December reminder - that's our wedding anniversary! Luckily it's a weekday this year so I don't have to actually do anything until that morning....

This is probably entirely impossible - so best floated early and rejected.
Mallory has the Plum Pudding Races on the Calendar once again this year. Mallory vs the pull of family commitments as a social meeting might not work out .... but I thought I would mention it. Just in case. |

Sorry Iain, no idea.
https://www.malloryparkcircuit.com/e...pudding-races/ It says something about "Bike Racing" though. Perhaps the pedaled sort to fit in with the noise regulations? There always seemed to be good options for vehicles with enclosed bodywork. Perhaps an Escort or something? Someone must have one. |

I doubt it. The last few times it's run they have had races for sports cars & saloons, but not single-seaters. They used to run single-seater races but entries were very low - down in single figures if I remember correctly.
