Congratulations to Mikkel Jensen for handing Felix Rosenqvist the 2015 European Formula 3 title!

Four safety cars and only just half way through race 3.

Rosenqvist is the classic case of if at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again! I'm happy he's finally won the title, his form these past twelve races, at the business end of the season, has been pretty much perfect.
I'm pretty sure that will be it for Felix in single-seaters now (although I also said that after his Macau win last year!). Maybe there might be a slight chance for him in Super Formula, but I think something like DTM or a Blancpain GT Series drive is much more likely. |

Well he's won the last 5 races. Prema have it nailed down now, Cassidy has been a class acquisition and Stroll has stopped driving into things and now they're right up there, whilst Dennis of course always has been near the front.
Nice to see Ilott and Camara have good weekends. Considering their lack of experience, given a proper pre-season they could be right at the top next season, with the likes of Russell, Albon, Jensen, etc should they stay. Where Rosenqvist goes will depend on budget, hence why I feel a factory DTM drive would be a no brainer if given the chance. |

Maxi Gunther is returning to F3 at Hockenheim. He'll take over the Prema seat (!!!) vacated by Cassidy, with the Kiwi opting to try and win the Japenese F3 championship this weekend instead. Gunther is rapid, perhaps a very good move for him looking into 2016, although it's probably a bit too early in his career to be looking at GP2!

Glass is half full approach, huh? What is the deal here? Is Maxi Gunther paying for the seat at Prema?

This is a bizarre yet brilliant race! Only on lap 5...
...nobody seems to be able to stay on the circuit... ...and now there's a safety car for a bit of carbon off the racing line and a small bit of dirt on the track. Calderon and Ferrucci have been very, very questionable... Last edited by Biscuits In A Red Bull; 18 Oct 2015 at 09:33. |

Well the season ends in the fashion you'd expect. Some good action from the talented youngsters, some rubbish driving from the rest of the field, and overzealous use of the safety car to stop some of the drivers from getting near to other cars. Real shame, that race could've been stunning, but I suppose if you allow the likes Matt Rao and Santino Ferrucci to drive in a series with this many evenly matched cars then you'll have a lot of safety cars.

hopefully FIA will give the riot act to those naughty boys that dis obey the yellow flags & safety cars, (cleanly shown on replays so no escape there). as this is the last race of the year bar that non championship race at Macau want could FIA do to the naughty boys from this race?

Given their dodgy driving standards, I'd say a great many of the current FIAF3 drivers would make excellent/entertaining touring car drivers.
