It really debuted last year in the VLN but yeah, in customer hands it's a sad start.

Race-leading 11 Ferrari in a big collision with the 51 Ginetta. Looks like a fair bit of damage done. Probably a long Code 60 underway now.

WRT doing what a basically-a-works-team does - Vanthoor brings his Audi in for fuel + tyres in anticipation of the Code 60 being removed in ~2 laps (probably going to be at least 5 more minutes) time.

Back to the "office" and got a beer in hand for the first enduro of 2016!
Listened to the stream some in my travels today and sounds like there's been some serious incidents and many Code 60s, especially in the dark. How much time has spent on Code 60? When does the sun come up? Certainly would like to watch dawn, my favorite part of a 24 hour race. Coverage seems to be great! RLM in sound, always great but the picture is crisp and consistent. |

And halfway! Palmer replaces Hindy in the booth. Trussers stays put for another "stint".

Those people who have bought a new R8 must be feeling pretty smug.

Nasty looking shunt for one Lambo while another Lambo gets pushed down the pit lane by the driver. Code 60 again. Driver is ok.

3rd placed Müller spun losing ten seconds and now pits with only 20 minutes into his stint. Problems?

Off DSC:
"Elsewhere, Chris James, driver of the #151 Sorg Rennsport, was confirmed by his co-driver George Richardson to have suffered a broken ankle in the car’s race-ending incident." Ouch! |

Ouch indeed. Could've been much worse but wasnt thankfully.
I'd love to see Konrad grab third but I doubt it |

Again off DSC.
"Most of hour 11 passed under Code 60 as the crash that took out the leading Ferrari was cleared up. According to Peter Kox, Cressoni’s co-driver in the car, the Italian was okay, but Thomas Martinsson in the Ginetta was said by his team to have suffered several broken bones and was being treated in hospital." |

They were down on power and missing sixth gear but hoped they'd make it home in 4th.

One more ticked off Audi Sport's bucket list.
Seriously, a fantastic effort from the winning WRT team and all the finishers. |
