Crysler in TCR/TCN2.
Today Chrysler means Fiat Chrylser Automobiles.
Cars for TCR/TCN2; Alfa Romeo Gulietta https://youtu.be/TH75W-ltYbI Fiat Tipo Dodge Dart https://youtu.be/UlYMMjYqFQk TCR and TCN2 have allowed engine change in the regulation. The new 2 liter turbo MultAir engine from Fiat Chrysler Automobile are a good engine for TCR/TCN2 racing. |

This discussion are not new in STCC!

I have seen a big document about Swedish racing and I am not alone! STCC AB and other racing people have also seen it! In touring car racing today, there are many people talking how you can make racing cheaper. If you buy or have a franchise agreement, you must pay for it. |

If they find a driver with a budget anything is possible, but not likely.
They had one car this year, and the driver struggled massively for budget and in the end they had to cancel the final weekend after having cancelled sessions throughout the season. It is now a legal matter for the team to try and get what they are owed. And today STCC released that they will merge Clio Cup with STCC/TCR next year so the signs are that there are few entries ready. |

I take from this move that, as previously mentioned, grid numbers may be small.

No, except from the fact that only three manufacturer team cars from this season are gone from the grid, and two other teams from this season don't have an option yet for the new regulations and another three-car team likewise don't have an option.

Teams come, teams go. It's always been like that, and transitions from one rule-set to another are notorious for causing a bit of a ruckus. STCC will survive, new teams will come eventually

Why can't Flash and Brovallen take part? Do they have official support from Nissan and Ford? In past year I have asked my self if it's not a good idea to merge TCR Benelux and Clio Cup Benelux. Now the Swedish take that step. |

STCC Heritage
This is how STCC have been looking when it´s using it´s STCC trademark!
STCC 1996-2002 “Super Touring ” https://youtu.be/A1jellSPJaE STCC 2003-2012 “S2000 ” https://youtu.be/bVTrbENeqlI Super Touring cars and S2000; This time Sweden used technical rules by FIA and national Swedish technical rules, to get maximum starting field, maximum car brands and car models. Country’s that use it´s on trademark, have more car brands and models in there Touring car racing series! In China Touring Car Championship “2,0 turbo super cup”; https://youtu.be/CoFIk35M9us China CTCC are having Ford Focus, Volkswagen Lamando, Baicmotor Senova 70s, Haima, Citroén, Mercedes, KIA, Honda, Mazda participating. A lot of these car brands and models are produced in plants in China. BTCC haven`t rebranded it to “NGTC” , when they changed technical rules. In BTCC they are doing the same they have MG, Proton, Vauxhall which are produced in U.K. BTCC have 11 car brands, taking part today. Every country have special customers needs who have it owns expectations and need local marketing strategy to be fur filled. |

Dacia was dealer backed with some importer support as well. They will also not be left. Neither Flash or Brovallen has any support from Nissan and Ford. Flash had some dealer support on the "Nissan" Linus Ohlsson drove. They could take part, anything is possible, but it is not likely. They need to find drivers with the budget. Brovallen is still owed money for this season from the driver, and that might be a legal matter. Flash has hinted there will not be a team from them next year. |

I don't know why they've chosen the franchise over FiA's TCN2, maybe you can shed some light on that. Obviously the organizers have seen advantages by going with WSC rather than the FiA. Perhaps better availability of new cars? |

And it's things like that that don't inspire a lot of confidence - any sensible organizer would run stuff like that past the teams before going public with it. |

Do they not talk to teams and drivers before they announce changes?

Are FIA art 262 TCN2 a ”troll"?
FIA technical rules are better for TCR in STCC. To do the Balance of Performance (BOP) you can do in it at a track in Sweden, the driver can be Rickard Rydell. It´s much cheaper to do it in Sweden, than do it in Valencia in Spain with World Sport Consulting LTD with N. Larini. It´s a long way to travel from Sweden to Spain to get the same answer. |
