True, but when was the last time you saw the Honey Badger crashing?

2 - 0 in Verstappen's favour so far. Had a great race from 16th to 3rd. But I don't know/understand how Daniel ended up finishing behind Max. Can't remember Daniel having an off track excursion, or any incident of sort. Strange that he ended his race where he did.

Daniel was a little too 'nice guy' there. He should've done what MV did to him on the last lap. There's something that is said about being a nice guy, and last. And if Daniel doesn't get more aggressive with Max, that's exactly where he will end up. Paul di Resta, who is very good mates with Daniel, said post race that DR and MV will clash sooner rather than later, and one of them will have to leave RBR. |

The Honey Badger has proved today he is not inferior to Max and can be more than a match for him

Round two to Max. He went from the back of the field, passed his teammate, ran in second for awhile and finished third. That was an impressive performance. Plus, he managed to keep his teammate behind in the last few laps despite - complaining about the lack of blue flags(that beloved old rule of F1)!
I'm not saying Danny was bad yesterday - but Max did outdrive him. |

The fightback for Danny has come. A good podium for him.

He was a bit off Max today, so really no real comparison between the two

Certainly more happy than last season's GP, if he hadn't screwed up quali, who knows where he would have been

In DR's post qualifying interview he said he didn't understand why, and that it was also "a stupid decision" by the team to send him out with cars in front and no one behind. He said it would've been better if the team had waited a bit longer before sending him out when they did in Q3. So I don't think you can blame DR for qualifying where he did.

I get the feeling either of the two would jump at a chance to leave red bull. Red bull hasn't really been top notch lately.

Ricciardo on the podium!
Not a fair comparison this round as Max had a good weekend until the car let him down during the race. Nevertheless, it's the points that count so Daniel gets this round. Just. |

Max was unlucky this time around. Danny picked up another podium and gave a boot to Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

Max hasn't really had the rub of the green this season has he? Shame really, as he should have more points

Don't think you can really say ricciardo outperformed max this race. Max was well ahead in 2nd when his car failed him.
