Masters own info here- http://www.mastershistoricracing.com...estival/event/
The DFV celebrations could be interesting, the engine and its derivatives powered so many other cars apart from period F1s. Let's hope there is a good display on and off track. The inclusion of MRL HTCC could explain the lack of GpA touring cars at Spa the weekend before. We will learn more when entry lists are available..... I'm out in GD late on Saturday- qualifying and race on the same day. Almost forgotten how that feels! |

One of the best weekends of the year for me, real racing cars without the flat cap hooray henry brigade and all the razzmatazz of Goodwood. I'll be there all weekend being a BH season ticket holder, I think I'll chicken out of camping this year after being frozen at 4am the last few years, must be my age!

No Dutch friends this year but still a cracking line up.
Just love wandering around the GP loop with the sights and sounds of my youth whizzing around. I will be camping, so expect the end to the current drought |

Hmmm.... Having just had 3 days at Spa where for two of them we were book ending the timetable- early start and late finish- I should be conditioned for Brands. Scrutineering 0730, briefing 0800, qualifying 0900, then 90 min race starts at 1635.... Hopefully lunch will be civilised, maybe with an afternoon nap!

The heavens opened just as the first cars were waiting to go out for qualifying! Looking dry but fresher for rest of today at least.....

Had a great day- even with the early rain that passed through and made our GD qualifying 'interesting'!
Good to meet tenther justracing and have a chance to really enjoy the GP layout again. Schedule ran virtually on time and Gentleman Drivers (last race) only red flagged due to a car in the barriers with few minutes to go. Happy with 16th o/a and class 3rd in a car I'd not driven before. Found could actually get in it if the seat cushion was removed! Hope tomorrow goes well for those still there. |

Good grids for yesterday's qualifying and races, fascinating to see a bigger grid turnout in the Formula 1 race than they have currently in Monaco! The howl of those DFV's is something else but the 70's sportscars do it for me, the big banger T70's up against the wonderfully nimble 2 litre Chevrons and Lolas, today should be good with the top 3 spots in qualifying going to the smaller engined cars. Those 70's sports cars are surely amongst the prettiest ever made and still look contemporary.
Good to say hello Mike, so pleased you finished in one piece but I'm afraid the Morgan doesn't have the attraction for me |

Really enjoyed yesterday. Wandered the loop in the morning and watched from Paddock hill in the afternoon. Have taken far too many photos already so will try and behave today

Great days racing today, 24 historic F1 cars on the grid for the main event, wall to wall touring cars covering 20 years or more plus a mouth watering variety of beautifully prepared 70's sportscars topped off with a healthy grid of FFord 1600's not to mention a bevy of wonderful GT's competing on one of the most picturesque and iconic grand prix circuits in the world, enough said.
Loved the whole weekend, many thanks to all competitors, mechanics, organisers, marshals and all for the great entertainment. |

Enjoyed the 2 days racing and the testing on Friday.
All but a couple of the races were very good. Could have done without the downpour just before the World Sports cars race but it added to their race I suppose. |

I love this event, not just the quality of cars but the access a snapper can still enjoy. Lack of access to the garages is the only downside.

Thanks brands for the pic of #61. Looks like me driving as well!
Seeing the pic of #71, it was good to see Roger Wills out in the Bizzarrini! Roger just missed out on a podium but received the 'Spirit' award instead. Looked better than the 3rd place pot..... |

Thanks for taking me in picture (#35)!
The race was great and I loved Brands. For my first time there I managed to beat way bigger cars with my nimble 1100 cc engined car (2 Cooper Monaco...). I really enjoyed taking over several times an Eleven at Druids that was overtaking me later on the long straight. What a circuit! |
