I didn't intend for the bold to be yelling as I was genuinely just having an opinion. It wasn't so much anger at anyone here, but I can see what you mean, it does come across as possible hostility. As for QR, not suprising really that there was the bogans there. I live about an hour or so away and there is a few bogan areas around, Logan, Miami, some in Ipswich. |

I think Stanaway would do really well in the main game . He has a resume few rookies can match. Be interesting to see how he goes this weekend in the Super 2 races, expectations may be high?

The thought of him in the series is a good thing, but I hope reason is used and if he needs time then does it. Richo7 said it, milage in super 2 is a great thing for him |

Dont get all the buzz about stanaway. Had a great drive on a drying track on slicks at sandown Afew open wheeler championship a while back, but mid pack at bathurst, no real stand out.
I will look forward to seeing him at SMP before i remotely believe any hype |

He has talent for sure but a season or two developing couldn't do any bad for him

I shake my head
The guy has pedigree in spades. If the 26 main game spots were based on ability and want of being on the grid then he makes it in easily. |

If Supercars testing wasn't so overly restricted I'd say Stanaway could slot straight into the main series, but with that in mind I think a year in Super 2 combined with Enduros and a Wildcard or two would be a much better introduction.
Also give PRA a great chance to have essentially a classic AA driver combination for the enduros. |

Obviously he has talent, no one is saying he doesn't. Take some time and read what we are saying. To truly unlock his potential a year in development with PRA would do the world of good. 1. He gets an idea of what a V8 Supercar handles like in sprint mode 2. He gets a feel for the team dynamics 3. He will learn a thing or two from the likes of Dumbrell 4. Its good mileage for his ENDURO campaign. Either way he wont have a drive next year. Best he gets some V8 miles. 5. He will get a feel for the heat factor. A V8 heats up a lot more then open wheel. He will feel what its like and adapt. Wont take long but better then just jumping in next year and doing 78 laps around Clipsal in 55 degrees You cant compare open wheel to V8s either, the majority of it is chalk and cheese. |

Stanaway did drive a fantastic race and has pedigree but lets not underestimate the difficulty and closeness of our home-grown series. |

Former champion, in the mix for around 10 years, 2-time Bathurst winner, was a highly-regarded international open-wheeler driver prior.
Yep, Ingall is clearly an imbecile. |

He had his moments in the latter part of his Supercars career (before he came back after Nascar) but to call him an imbecile driver is a bit uncalled for. Imbeciles don't become multiple series champions nor win multiple Nascar races...

I must be getting old. I don't even understand half the rubbish written by the younger brigade round here anymore. You've got the internet. Do some research, use spellcheck and come back when you can string a decipherable sentence together. Rant over.

Interesting to hear that both Prodrive/Tickford and DJR Team Penske are still running Falcons next year with no definite plans to introduce a new Ford. Most likely because they haven't got direct factory support but then again, Erebus introduced a Mercedes without direct factory support and both Prodrive/Tickford and Johnson-Penske are better off financially and got more and better tools to introduce a new body style and possibly a new type of engine.

Not sure PRA has more money than Betty at the start of 2013, they burnt a Huge amount of cash on that Benz program for next to no results.
