It´s a wonderful track and looks the WEC has managed to gather a good attendance. I´ll miss it in the new WEC.
Time for IMSA in Mexico? |

#92 & #61 make contact, Clearwater Ferrari caught in two minds and turns into the Porsche, both cars are damaged.

Drive through for #61 for contact with #92 and he has also been reported for speeding in pit lane.

Are Toyota running skinny or with an aggressive ERS profile. or have Porsche put the downforce up for S2 & S3? The Toyotas on low fuel have been setting more than a couple of fastest S1 times.

I can't find any good radar images on any sites I frequent, but one does say that rain is expected in the area by 1:15-1:30 local time.

You can lose 3 seconds in the esses alone here in traffic. Just happened to Hartley, gap back down to 2 seconds. So wouldn't worry about Tandy.

I like the dynamics created by Turns 1 and 12, and the Esses, at Road Atlanta with traffic, but I just don't care for what Tilke did with Mexico City. Too many of the corners are single-file, and the Esses especially, which were really something special, are now just a series of one or two corners in separate little complexes, not one great, flowing sequence of about eight corners. The accentuated accordion effect from all the slower corners is awful for racing in single-class scenarios.
