Tobacco, alcohol, fatty foods, etc etc et al are all damaging to the body. I think we should leave the legislation of morality to the respective governments.

I remember the Canadian Snowboarder who won the winter Olympic Gold was found positive for Marijuana but he argued that he had merely been in the company of others who were smoking it and had breathed it in passively! It worked! he kept his gold... Someone should tell Tomas about this if it is MJ that he tested positive for. Maybe its Bourdais and his french snowboarder mates who have infected Tomas????? (allegedly)

russfield, racers can drink but if tested a alcohol level of 0.00 is the only limit allowed. I dont drink 2 days before a race, but then alcohol is bit more of a know quantity possible. With the weed, for a start he's a professional sportman and possible a role model for youngsters. theres a huge debate here which could be endless. personally i dont think he should take drugs full stop. Maybe go the other way and get all the drivers stoned before a race just to see the effects....

Well my ability to drive on Gran Turismo 2 improved remarkably a few years ago when I gave up smoking. I always seemed to panic on the last lap and spin it away, especially at the last corner of Red Rock Valley Speedway. A bit like Bourdais in Spain this year!!

As a friend of mine said some one should set up a three car team for Scheckter, Enge and Herta (have you seen his "Anarchy in the UK"?) and call the team "Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' roll".

Someone who want's a f1 drive can't be positive for cannabis, f1 is the top pro series in car racing everyone is dream on and you throw it away cos a marijuana is the dumbest thing I saw.
