Then the penalty is weird. Because they weren't allowed to do an emergency service, so got a penalty for violating the rules of an emergency service rather than for pitting in a closed pit lane - which has different penalties.

So, what did I miss? I see a curious lack of ESM on the scoring...

90 spun in the esses. Both ESM cars spun avoiding it, taking damage. 90 and 2 were both penalised for pit lane infringements 90 has just spun itself over a leader trying to avoid losing a lap and has got damage and debris |

A day to forget for the 90 so far. Still 5 .5 hours left to do some more damage.

I know that in IMSA you don't have to give the place to the leader, but if you're already laps down through your own accident, maybe turning over the nose of a leader isn't the best idea.

Was that in avoidance, of would they have hit anyhow? I can't tell for sure. 22 went behind the wall as a consequence. 90 and 2 stopped when the race restarted, and got penalties for stopping when they shouldn't have (yet) |

Yeah, absolutely no reason to challenge there. Calvin Fish and the others are saying it best. Make it known much earlier that you're going to challenge the position. Not at the apex!

When the #90 spun, both ESM collided between them, that's why one of the cars got damage on the rear.

They said Petit was covered by everything else is up in the air. Anyone want to buy a Riley or DP in Visit Florida colors to fund the season? Apparently the Riley is close to being sold and the DP is to be listed this week

Don't they also have a Ligier, or was that borrowed? Or sold already?
