Well, at least we don't have to worry about those high temperatures!
Hope everyone stays safe in these conditions. Last edited by Evantra; 29 Jul 2018 at 10:48. |

"The engineers are saying the race will be a procession, too much standing water".
Have they ever seen a BTCC race? |

Norlin have it nailed in the wet.
About 6 cars pulled off by 1/3 distance... |

of course what happens to the soft tyre rule for this and next race if it still wet? Plus someone might be in MSA bad books. A Yellow flag, two cars side by side and also there was contact and we all ready had injured marshals this weekend

I'll be amazed if Moffat isn't given a big slap for that one.

Incredible finish, truly the best. That's why this series rules.
But, it won't go down in the annals of BTCC lore like Time Harvey suggested in the commentary, because it won't be on the internet properly to watch for the next decade. They'll just be a "Race 16 in 60 seconds clip" a week from now that is terrible for search algorithms. Sigh. |

That was brilliant, great driving from both Ash and Jack especially on the last lap!

At least that the theory. For Snetterton, there are no option tyres in race 3, so if race is wet, the whole option tyres thing goes out the window. They don't roll over to the next meeting. |

What a race! Incredible battle between Ash and Goff, they are among the best young guys in the field and we need such top-level rivalries in this championship. Great opening of this special weekend.

Great last lap from Goff and Sutton. Looks like the upgraded engine in the Subaru might have more grunt out of the corners, but hasn’t helped them in the straights....

That was a proper touring car race, despite the weather- Brilliant finish by Sutton and Goff, to be honest they both deserved the win.
Some good drives down the field as well- the Chilton/Turkington/Neal battle was entertaining, and a great drive by Lloyd to 10th from 23rd on the grid. Sutton's start was a real peach - I was almost wondering if the BMR boys had slipped an extra diff into the front of that Subaru overnight! |

Goff (plus others) start from the back! What happened there?

Can’t believe Goff missed the pitlane cutoff! Wonder whether that’s a mistake fork his crew or a mechanical issue causing a delay?

Big shame for Austin... once again Ingram has put in an incredible drive through the field.
All getting a but messy now... |

Not entirely sure that needs a SC, but it'll make the race to the finish crazy.
Jason a bit of an embarrassment today tbh. Cook and Ingram should be fun on the restart. |
