There is this,
https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/13...sts-2019-hopes Fourth paragraph down it says: "While the Nurburgring is not pursuing negotiations with Liberty over holding a race next year, Hockenheim may yet be able to host its first back-to-back GPs since the 2005/06 seasons." |

I miss the old Hockenheim for its flat-out blasts through the forest contrasting with the madness of the stadium section, and the set-up compromises this forced on the teams, but I must admit that the new circuit has delivered some good racing. I’d be very glad to see it stay on the calendar for 2019.

Certainly it deserves to stay on the calendar more than certain other circuits on the calendar

Apparently a deal is in place for Hockenheim in 2019 but a contract between Liberty Media and Hockenheim has not yet been signed, though this is just a formality.

welcomed news.
also welcomed is the suggestion that Liberty have agreed to reduce the hosting fees. they certainly seem to be treating the venues with much more respect and have a genuine interest in protecting the 'core' f1 markets. |

I see they have decided to arrange the deckchairs at Hockenheim.
Another thing that doesn’t address the problems of F1. What are they messing at. |

Apparently Indycar won't be continuing at Long Beach from next year and the organisers may need to find an alternative series to fulfil commitments.
Maybe it can be back on the calendar after all? |

I haven't read anything about there not being an IndyCar race after 2023. The only thing on the distant horizon is the 2028 Olympics in LA, which could impact on the race and the venue but that's a long way off. |

I hope something gets done, be a big shame to lose the British GP. I’m sure Liberty will be keen to keep it though
