Did they smooth the bumps out or something?
I remember Thruxton as being some kinda "rodeo ride" where qualifying laps looked ridiculously hard, like you were having to hold on for dear life. Cars looked pretty easy today though. Good races in store tomorrow, so much action to follow this weekend. |

Anyway I'm really looking forward to this. Maybe we'll get another legendary Sutton vs Cook battle for the lead at the end of race 2. |

Great pole by Cookie. Once again, he proves to be the master at this circuit. Great lap at the end by Colin, after looking well down. Tingram did well considering his handicap of leading the championship. Can't wait for the race

rather boring race after lap 1 , why can't they remove the limited 6th gear ?
an utter disaster for Tingram |

Impressive performance that by Cook for race 1.
And talking of impressive, Ash Hand and Dan Lloyd both finished well in that race and doing a good job in cars new to them for 2022. |

Can't help feeling these smaller Minis are a bit too amateur for the BTCC package. Oh well, we only got see to one (half a) race anyway!

the fact that its ratio is stipulated by TOCA for this track and it's too short as result almost no passing on the long straight prior to the chicane

Went to Thruxton yesterday and Toca need a serious think about why on earth they don't allow carrera cup, mini challenge or ginetta gt4's to go there. I love thruxton been going since I was a kid but yesterday was the first time I've seen support series and thought my god these are boring. Porsche Caymans for instance 9 cars. What is the point.

But wouldn't that just lead to as many complaints that passing is determined by the car with the highest power, not driving skill? |

how it is you can't do any drafting because they reach the rev limiter and that's it
