Clay Regazzoni? Didn't he end up in a wheelchair after Long Beach 1980?

BTW...I would rather have Durango finish up Fulvio's car (so that they can run at least two races this fall -- Spa & Le Mans Bugatti!) than begin their quest to construct a street car....

Is it true that Pescarolo and RfH have threatened to abandon the FIASCC in case of another poor grid? - I guess that would be the end of FIASCC, certainly for this year...

On a more positive note, one of these Durangos will likely be driven by a certain member of this board, no?

To Cybersdorf:

On the Monza thread, there is a list of entries:

12 SRP1s ( really 11, since the second Durango car won't be ready until Oscherleben, per Fulvio's note above) and 5 SRP2 entries (the same 3 Lucchinis and 2 Pilbeams)

16 prototypes is two more than Road Atlanta will have (as of last Thursday, anyway) and both Ascari and R&M have come back....

Finally, I thought Fulvio said the car is a street car and not meant for the racing circuit....

Could someone clarify this for me???

Thanks!

Based on your reply, I'm assuming "one of those Durangos" is not the pictured car....

Fulvio already said he would be in one of the two prototypes they are currently racing...unless you have another member in mind....

So far, they have never raced more than one car; the new chassis still not finished. Still, Fulvio has teamed up with regulars Rugolo and Maddalena, and he'll be in the race.

To Fulvio:

Will the incidents last Sunday at Monza with the primary car cause any delays in the second car, which I believe you said would possibly be ready for Oschersleben in late July...

I wasn't sure if there was any damage to the car that would cause the team to focus on fixing it and thus set back the work on the second chassis...

Please advise...we want you to be driving again next month!!!

BTW....at some point, someone asked about a pic of you..
could you post one?

Thanks!
