They are currently resurfacing the Mount Panorama circuit, and they reckon that the lap record will be slashed by 2 seconds this year. Is that the surest sign that it is going to rain, or what?!

I have driven around on the new surface and doing the speed limit you could knock a few seconds off quite easily. The track is so smooooooooooooth The only problem I could see is there is a join in the hotmix right about on the braking point into the chase, but we just have to wait and see.
p.s. there are already skid marks up there from people trying to better their lap times. |
