I have the utmost respect for PB.I feel the way Holden and HRT have treated him is horrendous. But lets face it, his only worth to a V8 Team is for the Marketing and Merchandise sales.Let PB put his money where his mouth is if he REALLY wants to own a Team.

Great idea in theory, however racing in the premier category chews up enormous amounts of ca$h.
The sucess of the HDT from 1980 - 1985 was largely to do with HDT Special Vehicles producing desirable road cars with a profit margin that went straight back into the race team. PB personally funded the team's sponsorship shortfall for the 1986 ETCC races (as the $AUD dived); and again in 1987. A sucessful racing venture (comparible to the HDT's success) in 2004 would require both a large sponsorship deal and a secondary income source (i.e. from Factory or secondary car manuafacturing). |

Its not going to be a PMM-led Team Brock for 2004 thats for sure... GRM isnt out of the ballpark, but the oil company is not the right one
