"Peter Brock will step away from V8 Supercars and team up with son James, each driving a 7-litre Monaro 427 in the Procar-run, eight-round Nations Cup series "

Rebound should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
What site was this on? the official Team Brock site has nothing of the such, all it has is a media release about the Procar Monaro team of Peter and James. He a a schedule on his own page but that has been up before the anouncement of the new Team Brock.

Team Brock is up to Peter BROCK , not weelie bin racing, so A real Team Brock , in theory , could come about!Maybe 2005 - if Holden can handle THE INTERNAL FLACK AGAIN, with a team more popular than HRT!

With Brock now being a director amongst PROCARS board and running his own operation in the eva exciting Nations Cup Championship, I cant see any involvement with the taxi's on the board in the forseeable future.

It will be hard convincing the fans , including the knuckle draggers and sheep , that procar is a viable alternative!

Not all motorsport fans are knuckledraggers.

And people who actually buy cars don't watch V8Supercar as a rule.

Eh????

No PHR or TLA, Nations Cup doesn't have the appeal it once had. Appears to be Monaro v BMW benefit and around a dozen competitors all up.

TLA will be back. This time without Sam but with a young hot shoe to partner Stokell.

And the Mosler deal is done as well.

I think the PHR BMW has almost found a new home and will be back.

One more Monaro.

Possibly a new Ferrari but odds on it'll be the 360GT's again with MCR and Simonsenn.

And then there's GTP, APCC, F3, Brutes.

The PROCAR Champ Series as a whole is as healthy as it gets.

You have been so consistent with your negative comments regarding PROCAR I sometimes think you should have called yourself Black Hat rather than White Knight

It's shaping up as a great year for Procar, any doubters should actually watch a race & i think that they'll suprise themselves with how much they enjoy the racing.

I think one of the best features PROCAR has is that it has continuity in it's presentation and content. So when you go to a PROCAR meet or turn the teev on to watch it, you know what you'll get.

Speaking of Procar, the site isn't running on all cylinders at the present. It could be just me but I get this message:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80004005'

[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

Take it as read, Hobo High, that Peter Brock is setting up the infrastructure for a sustained campaign in Procar related series including Nations Cup and Brutes, as well as side projects in Formula 3 and Future Racers.

At this point he has no inclination to get involved again in V8 Supercars although today at the Brisbane Motor Show he was asked the question: "Will you drive at Bathurst this year?" to which he answered "I will if someone asks me to - but that's not really up to me".

Unless this scenario comes to pass - ie. an invitation for an enduro drive - I believe Brock has well and truly closed that door for the time being.

The average person off the street wouldn't know how badly HOLDEN have treated BROCK, since the HRT days of 1996/97.To go into detail would risk numerous complaints to moderators by the vocal minority .To Ross Palmer -good to see someone using BROCK and giving him the respect he deserve's!

Hey Large Buggar I know where the big crowds will be, but PROCAR needs to exist for the sake of the sport . . . they just need to know their place!
