Well folks, I'm back! And in one piece!

I got a Chrysler 300M. Not a bad piece of kit I have to say, especially for typical US roads. Decent spec, 3.5 litre V6 (?), shame it's a front driver. Put just over a thousand miles on it in 8 days, but sadly didn't get to do Skyline Drive - Isabel wreaked havoc in Shenandoah - the National Park's probably still shut now...

Soon got into US driving habits. My lane discipline's gonna be awful next time I hit a UK motorway...

...and I know half of you will hate me for this, but I do really really want a Cadillac Escalade...

Oh, and a Ford Police Interceptor...
I visited Shenandoah back in May. The skyline drive is fantastic although the views get samey. My uncle let me drive the Impala for a few k's (bit naughty what with me being under 21!!) Lovely twisty roads, felt jealous of the guys on harleys that we saw!!!

I've been all the way up Skyline Drive along the spine of the Shenandoah Mountains. Absolutley beautiful up there.
