My Dad has just found a pic of the Golf GTi he used to own back in 1990................ Yup, no taste. Sorry about the pic quality, the scanner I have is rubbish.

My first thought was XJS, but the windscreen & side window shapes are wrong.

......and all XJSs were hit with an ugly stick during manufacture!

Just joking Adam....or am I?

I like renault 5's but the colours are terrible! And is that a scenic???

There's a racey-looking Vauxhall Zafira that is sometimes down my road... i'll get a pic of it if it comes back.

And hobson - your dad's Golf gti looks like a skoda rapid! (No bad things about skoda rapid's please - my sister used to have one and it wasn't bad!!)

Funny you say that, he had a Estelle with a Fiat Twim Cam engine after that Golf. He was serious about modded cars back then. He was talking about putting a Vauxhall 2.0 XE into a Lada 1500 that a guy up our street was eliing for £25. Then he got a company car and stopped modding.

Thats not a Scenic in Williams colours, its a Twingo. Doesn't make it any better though!

I did think the lights were a bit different...!

The modding sounds great! My dad wants to but a super-charged engine into our old MG metro turbo for ME!- and just have the frame i think he was saying!

Howled with laughter this morning (no pictures, sorry) at a Honda Integra, lowered, big exhaust, naff wheels, driving like a hooligan on the way to work - up the bus lane and weaving in and out of the traffic. Then we got to the speed humps and he had to slow to about 4mph to get over them without removing the undersides, so I overtook him again 'cause I can do 25mph over the bumps without damage. Ooh, his face was a picture!

Did it only have one wiper, resting in the middle of the screen when turned off?

No, it needed one on the inside because he was crying at the embarrassment at being overtaken by a Beamer on one side and a pedestrian on the other!

Nice pic, Craig, but this one was silver that may once have been metallic before the shine went off.

Maisie, the first pic you put on this thread to start it off was exactly like one i saw yesterday on my way home - except the car was white and and lights or "eyes" were even more pointy and evil looking! Pathetic!
