I have now had my car for 1 year and I have done 21045 miles exactly..........

I do about 250 miles a week going back and forth to work/college.

Which is about 13000 miles a year I dread to think how much petrol i put in that car!!

Looking back at an old magazine from 1959, there was an advert for an oil company referring to some guy (a sales rep, of course) who had done 105,000 miles in 4 years in a Ford Consul. Some motoring for that day and age.

I do about 30,000 miles per year in the beast at about 12.5mpg . I fill the tank every other day when work is busy, every three days if it's not. See the pic in the Let's see you car thread for picture of the beast. Robert
