With Richard Young's post we have listed practically every car circuit in the British Isles.

Shouldn't we add sand racing at Southport ? Theses were "real" races pre war, not speed trials. I'm not sure about other places like Saltburn ans Redcar. Also, some of the early sea front events like Bexhill and Brighton had side-by-side starts / first across the line goes through to the next round events which, I guess, are strickly speaking races too !

PS Need to add Dundrod to the road courses. Cork, Limerick. Skerries, Bray are in Eire so do they count? If so also Tallaght Dunboyne Curragh Rathdrum & Wicklow

Oops. Should have re read Richard's posting. With regards to Brighton - yes it's the same in principle although the trem Drag racing was not yet invented in 1905!

Amaroo Park - torn down for a housing development Lakeside Warwick Farm - hosted F1 races in the 1960s There was a track up in Surfers Paradise that hosted bike racing that went belly-up |

Missing to the list are Clady and Cluntoe in Northern Ireland. You might like to take a look at http://www.silhouet.com/motorsport/tracks/gb.html - also includes some beach venues.
