The car looks to be one from the early 90's DTM series. It should have a 3litre straight-six cylinder engine in with about 450bhp in.

As far as I remember, the rear wheel arches were open - not half covered as in this picture. Except for the rims (design) the rest of the car looks like the real deal.

the sales man say's it's the 3 car from team Eggenberger from 1991, it has raced for years (1996-2000) in Malasia, he buy the car in 2000. Gr Andre |

In '92 Italian Touring Car Championship there was a white Omega like that one, it was run by Greyhound, driven by Massimo Pigoli, and it was an ex Eggenberger DTM car.
It was too big and too slow and so their program stopped in the middle of the season... the best result was a 6th place in the opening round at Monza, while Pigoli ranked 14th in the final classification.. also this one had the rear wheel arches open |

I swear it looks like a road car! none of the pictures so far show the covered arches though the road car had them.
Do racing cars having winding/electric windows on the front doors and isnt that a sunroof |

The sale man say's it was the spare car of hte DTM Omega that raced under the number 25 and 26.
Gr Andre Ps: the car is from 1991, maby there is a something changed for the race in Malasie. I have also write Rudi Eggenberger about this car but nothing heard yet. |
