WTCC with Nissan ?

I've just read it at autosport's website:

Nissan Motorsport Europe is evaluating a return to international-status touring car racing, according to Motorsport Aktuell. The Swiss weekly reports today that the Japanese manufacturer's recently appointed European motorsport chief, Gilles Martineau, has initiated a feasibility study based on the projected World Touring Car Championship in 2005.

Let's hope,they'll be back Of course with Primera.

The Nissan Sentra would make a nice touring car.

But it's not sold in Europe though? Perhaps, it shares it's platform with the Nissan Almera

Anyway,
The Primeara is already built to Super 2000 regulations (but it hasn't raced) so i would imagine that they would use that

But the Nissan Sentra is a touring car, albeit not in Super 2000-spec. http://www.team-rtr.com/cars.htm

Yes, I was aware of the RTR campaign. It's too bad the Sentra isn't raced in more countries. The previous generation was raced in Japan in their JTCC. It's too bad they never produced 1/24 models of it!!
