It is interesting that the Minardis are faster than the Jordans. I wonder why that happened. Also, I find it interesting why is Leinders so much slower than even Baumgartner. In f3000 Leindes beat Baumgartner constantly.
MS only did 9 laps in FP2, does anybody have an idea why that happened? Cheers, |

It is great to see the Minardi's are not bottom. This looks good for the race

Because Leinders is practising with race setups and fuel loads to help out the race drivers and generally testing out the new (and few) parts. Last edited by ASCII Man; 28 May 2004 at 13:52. |

Well I just read in the Hungarian media that Zsolt Baumgartner was forced off the track by Panis. Panis got mad because the Hungarian held him up in a quick lap :-). That is funny if you ask me, Panis should be fined or something.

The pm session is usually used to evaluate long tyre runs. Hence Ants being slower however I'm always amazed at the consistancy of the sector times over the long runs...bearing in mind traffic and so forth. EG: Ants last long run...out lap... (3 sectors) 29.6 37.3 22.9 (tyres at their sweet spot) 30.0 37.8 23.1 30.4 38.5 23.6 30.6 38.3 23.4 30.5 38.5 23.5 30.7 38.3 23.4 30.7 38.2 23.8 30.6 38.1 23.4 30.7 38.2 23.3 30.6 38.1 23.4 30.7 38.5 23.6 30.7 39.3 23.5 30.4 38.3 23.2 in lap. Fastest in sector overall in sector 1. Kimi/Ant/Jenson 29.3 sector 2. Kimi/Michael 37.1 sector 3. Michael 22.5 |

Rubens was pretty much the Ferrari slave 2day wasn't he?
Heard Schuey only did 9 laps. Whilst Rubens did all the tyre work. |

TGF only did 9 laps due to a hydraulic leak, had nothing to do with Rubens' indentured servitude...
I should think they are a bit disappointed not to have had much input from Michael on the tires due to his limited running. |
