The Carsport Holland Corvette C6.R is not shown in the morning warmup results - anyone know why? Trouble? Saving the equipment? Slept in?

Well, that'll do nicely to close up the championship!

Ferraris 1-4 in the final order. It seems they dominate the 2 hour races while having trouble staying on the road in the longer races.

Definetley not a Porsche track!
Sean said in the GT3 Race commantary that there were some runs at the start of the weekend to work out the relative performance of the cars after the season-long development, and the Porsche wasn't within 5s a lap of the Ferrari's! Did I get that right, or is my memory terrible? |

Yeah, but I meant sean said it while he was commentating on the GT3 race, in reference to the GT2 class
![]() Ofcourse, it doesn't mean my memory isn't playing tricks on me! |

Kidzer, yes I was refering to a GT3 thing they did! They basically sprung a suprise test after practice 2 when all the cars were in park ferme, so all the cars were set up to their best. The Ascari, Dodge, Lambo, Porsche and a few others (not the Ferrari or Vette at they knew they are fast already) were tested by Bouchout and the other guy. And the Ascari was over 5 seconds faster then the Porsche, driven by the same drivers, which shows how big the difference is!
GT2 how ever is much the same, Ferrari is too fast and is so good on it's tyres we just can't compete and I doubt we will continue in the last 2 races either... As for the race, Michelin told us to use the medium compund, same for Ebi and it was the wrong decision, as they did not work at all! Our pace was auful in the 6's at the beggining and 9's at the end of my long middle stint. Leo went out on the soft tyres at the end and just played around really, we were out of the points anyway... Reiter Engineering skips penultimate round...
Nogaro was also going to be an ideal circuit for the Lamborghini Murciélago R-GT, however team boss Hans Reiter has decided to cry off from this race in the south of France: “The wheel nut that we had fitted three laps before the end of the race also showed signs of cracks after the race. The persistent problems with the components have forced me to make this difficult decision. ..." more on www.josmentenracing.nl |
