Lenny, are you sure about Euroboss being finished - their website indicates a full season of racing (in europe) with their first race being at Spa on the 1st May.

There are no races for Euroboss in the UK this year was the last I had heard as all the bills from the BARC had not been settled for 2004 circuit use. Running any sort of UK series was out therefore which made it a non starter for many UK based drivers wanting to look at UK based sponsors. I think there are only 4 or 5 european races so it doea not look an attractive package for a UK based driver who has to look after his or her budget. OK if you have loads of dosh and dont' want to devlop any sort of racing career

EuroBOSS anounced that they would not be racing in UK due to excessive circuit hire charges.Seems they are paid to come to some continental circuits!

Sorry SG, was holding on too tight due to understeer and then my fun ended with a hairy moment through stirlings (seized engine locked everything up on turn in..oops).

I think there are 35 cars registered this year, so average grid size should be around 25 per meeting, as there is always someone who cant do a specific round.

Jodie is planning on joining the ClassB (1000cc) as far as I know. She was at Brands this weekend as a spectator as her car is being rebuilt after being pranged at Mallory on boxing day.

Yep, dam shame really as I had more power in a straight line up until that point. Ho hum, engines hey.

Looks like I will be powered by "Dirty Bessey" for Combe though....yeeha.
Lets hope the rebuild on this engine will be ok..... touch wood.

The corner before stirlings (sheeness or something) is excellent fun, you can really chuck the car round it with loads of grip. Unfortunately I think it was the lateral g here that caused the oil surge that seized me up into stirlings.

Only when either high lift cams are involved or there is a problem with the oilways. This was my first engine failure (previously only blown clutches). Last season my main race engine was fine all year.

It looks like the problem was with using the wrong sump baffle...oops on my part.

Oh and you know problems happen in three's?
Well first my suspension failure, then my engine failure and yesterday I broke my foot, so Im not driving until at least Cadwell now....bummer.
